Hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend! Seems to have gone quickly now what with it being Weds already! I’m not sure how that happened?!
Well at the weekend, my good friend Hoyan who I’ve known for a long time from when we were shop girls at Harvey Nicks, kindly agreed to being the new face of Junkie Lovers Boutique so we embarked on a D.I.Y photoshoot. Just me and my trusty Canon EOS 350D and a few jewels stashed away in my bag is all that I needed. I somehow managed to get on the wrong bus to her house (doh!) then had to travel back on myself (which was super annoying!) but I got there eventually and after a heavy downpour of rain, the sun was still shining (just about!).
So here is a sneak preview of a pic from the photoshoot and a little bit about Hoyan. I am going to embark on some interview series with crafty creative types called 10 minutes with…. so you can get a snapshot of other peoples interesting lives!
My most trusty item of clothing is – a vintage navy cardigan

Let’s Get This Show On Road

So then as the Summer starts to draw to a close and the evenings start to darken earlier, we are faced with the prospect of a beautiful new season. I especially like September as a month but August seems to be evaporating faster than I can catch my breath!
I have some new treats for you to indulge yourself with in the gorgeous new retro and kitsch necklace ranges which I’m sure you’ll just love! Indulge yourself in new styles such as the typewriter ranges QWERTY and Touch Type! From what I can gather Typewriters are still hugely popular (check out this article on the BBC Website! I love typewriters and the quality of the keys on the paper, there is something quite special about it.
Not to be left in the cold is the super and duper Diana Ain’t Got Nothin’ On Me and Hey DJ Put The Record On.
Last but no means least are the Kitsch Me Quick items Pony Club and Early Bird which are fabulously cute and adorable! More stuff to come soon…
